THE PHOTOSHOOT
PHOTOGRAPHS DESIGNED AROUND YOU.
A photoshoot can mark something important, introduce you to the world, capture who you are right now—or simply exist because you wanted to create something extraordinary.
Whatever brings you here, we begin with you.
Together, we'll shape a session around how you want to be seen, with thoughtful creative direction, intentional styling and an editorial approach to portraiture.
You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what that looks like. That's part of the process.
WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT?
This isn't about choosing a backdrop, standing on a mark and working through a list of poses.
We start with a conversation.
I want to understand what brought you here, what you're drawn to, and what you want the photographs to communicate. From there, we develop the visual direction—wardrobe, environment, lighting, mood and the details that bring everything together.
DO I NEED TO KNOW WHAT I WANT?
Not at all.
You may come to me with an entire folder of inspiration, a particular outfit you've been waiting to wear, or nothing more than the feeling that you're ready to be photographed.
All of those are good starting points.
Part of my role is finding the visual language for what you're trying to express—even when you can't quite articulate it yet.
WHAT HAPPENS BEFORE THE PHOTOSHOOT?
We'll talk through the direction of your session before we photograph anything.
We'll consider wardrobe, styling, location or environment, how the photographs will ultimately be used, and anything else that helps us create the right visual world.
The amount of production can vary depending on what we're creating.
WHAT IF I'M NOT COMFORTABLE IN FRONT OF A CAMERA?
You don't need to be.
Most people don't spend their lives in front of a camera, and I don't expect you to arrive knowing how to pose or perform.
I'll direct you throughout the session—movement, posture, hands, expression and all the small adjustments that change a photograph.
You can concentrate on being present.
I'll take care of what happens inside the frame.
CAN THIS BE FOR MY BUSINESS?
Absolutely.
The same approach applies when the photographs have a professional purpose. We'll consider your audience, how the images need to function and what you want them to communicate—without defaulting to conventional corporate photography.
A professional photograph can still have personality, atmosphere and point of view.
Your business doesn't require you to look less like yourself.
HOW DO WE CHOOSE WHAT TO CREATE?
We build from what feels right for you.
Wardrobe is often a starting point. A location, an object, a color, a reference photograph or even a particular feeling can be enough to establish a direction.
I bring my perspective to the process, but I don't want every person who walks through my door to leave with a variation of the same photograph.
The finished images should belong to you.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE PHOTOSHOOT?
Once the session is complete, we'll come together again to see the photographs.
You'll choose the portraits you love and decide how you'd like to enjoy them. Your selections receive my finished retouching and can live as digital images, printed artwork, or both.
What you ultimately choose to own is up to you.
HOW DOES THE INVESTMENT WORK?
Your session begins with a $495 retainer, which reserves your date and begins the creative process.
Portrait collections begin at $1,200, with your retainer applied toward your collection.
You'll receive the complete investment information before you commit to your session, so you'll know exactly how the process works and what options are available to you.

WHAT DO YOU WANT TO CREATE?
You don't have to know yet.
That's a perfectly good place to begin.
